Hey! So Glad You're Here.

Our little society was founded in 2005, creating a place for like-minded people who all share a love of writing. For the last seventeen years, the University of Stirling Creative Writing Society has put our members at the core of everything we do, from collaborations to writing groups. Over the past few years, we have published an anthology of our members' works. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 anthology was postponed and cancelled. From this, we decided to start a blog to have a new way to share our members' fantastic work.

We recently released our 2023 Anthology 'Strange', a collaboration with the Art Society with some excellent work from our members and committee alongside illustrations from both our society and the art society.

This year we have a big committee on board:
President: Evelyn Sprague

Vice President: Ren Robertson

Secretary: Isla Barker

Treasurer: Duncan Mitchell

Archivist: Archivist

Publicity Officer 1: Jennifer Leigh

Publicity Officer 2: Britney Nguyen

You can find more about each member on The Committee tab under the Posts section.

We hope you enjoy our works and share some of your own.

Want to submit a piece of writing?

We understand that a piece of writing can be very important and meaningful to someone, which is why there is no pressure to submit. We do also allow anonymous submissions or submissions by a pen name if you with to do so.

If you would like to submit a piece of writing to be read out or given feedback for please email: stiruniwriters@gmail.com
