A tired traveller began to look for an inn to spend the night. When the sun sank below the trees, a light appeared in the distance. Music and laughter drifted across the silent night. He tied his exhausted horse to a pole and entered, booking a bed for the night before enjoying the night in the jolly company of the generous locals.
At dawn, the traveller found the main hall deserted. He was greeted by a bleached marking of the plague peeling off the open door. As he left the building, he could hear the clink of glass and laughter.
